NET-TEL provides several training courses based on the considerable depth of expertise and experience gained in the implementation and deployment of messaging systems. We are able to provide courses at our offices in Wheathampstead, or alternatively at your own site.
UNIVERSAL INFORMATION SERVER
This is a composite course over three days that covers all aspects from basic X.400, UIS and goes on to advanced topics, concluding by integrating the UIC into the whole. A selegate may select individual elements rather than the whole course as necessary.
X.400 Basics
This course is an introduction to the X.400 standard, and includes an overview of the MTA, Universal Information Client and the Message Store.
Universal Information Server (MTA/MS Basics)
A basic course for administrators educating them in the installation and configuration of the Route400 MTA/MS.
X.400 Advanced
This is a course for the more experienced administrator who wants to know more detail about the X.400 standard.
Universal Information Server (Advanced)
This course will consider the facilities that are available in the UIS including the connectors (gateways) available, the methods of access and the methods of transmission.
Universal Information Client
This is a practical day in using the UIC and all its features, intended for users who need to know how to use the UIC in order to be more efficient in their day to day activities.
ADDITIONAL COURSESWe have a number of other courses of ½ day and one day duration, as listed below. These can be mixed and matched to suit your own needs, although there may be a charge for tailoring courses to customer specific requirements.
