From February 1998, all new products released by NET-TEL will be Year 2000 conformant. As far as our existing products are concerned, the list below shows the ones that have already been checked as Year 2000 conformant. This list will be updated as we proceed with our checking exercise. The versions of the products listed below have been fully tested for Year 2000 conformity. Later versions will also be tested for conformity as a matter or routine. However, earlier versions cannot be guaranteed conformant.
Products in our catalogue which checking shows are not conformant will be assessed to determine the work required to make them Year 2000 conformant. We will shortly publish a set of target dates and release/version levels by which Year 2000 conformance will be achieved for these products.
It should be noted that, whilst NET-TEL is confident about its claims regarding Year 2000 conformance of its own products, these do not extend to the rest of the system on which our products are run. To be completely certain that your system is Year 2000 conformant you should obtain similar undertakings from the suppliers of the underlying operating system and the hardware.
