NET-TEL's Route400 range of Message Clients deliver native X.400 User Agent functionality to the Macintosh desktop, providing a powerful mail management interface for the creation, submission, receipt and manipulation of simple text and multi-part multi-media mail messages. Coupled with NET-TEL supplied or network based gateways, Route400 User Agents deliver maximum reachability and interoperability with the worldwide base of X.400, Internet and proprietary connected mail users and fax systems. In combination with Route400 Message Servers, users can even usefully exchange incompatible word processor or other business application documents. Format conversion is handled by the optional Route400 Document Conversion Accelerator.

Route400 Message Clients for Macintosh adhere to the Apple Human Interface Guidelines - based on Macintosh Finder/Document paradigms - ensuring consistency of implementation and use. Mail is treated as a document/letter in a single window, and full context sensitive help is provided throughout.

Route400 Message Clients for Macintosh require Macintosh System 7 or greater with 4Mb RAM. Route400 Message Clients are also available for Windows, DOS and a wide range of UNIX environments, delivering a consistent interpersonal & process-process messaging solution across the broadest range of platforms in the industry.
